Portfolio
Welcome la famille. Below, you’ll find some personal highlights and a collection of work that reflects my passion for creativity and storytelling. I believe every piece has a story to tell and I’m proud to share these moments of creativity with you. Take a look around and feel free to reach out if something sparks your interest or triggers your imagination—I’d love to connect.
Fiasco
I was thrilled when Fiasco, a vibrant restaurant immersed in the enchanting ambiance of the jungle, approached me with an exciting project.
Their vision was to add a touch of wilderness to the dining experience by adorning their chefs and staff with custom-made bandanas.
Eager to bring their jungle theme to life, I enthusiastically embraced the challenge.

Workshop @ Bib Wilrijk
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Wilrijk library. I immersed myself in reading a children’s story in Lingala, the language of my second
home, Congo, which I actively strive to practice. In addition to sharing this story, I provided the young attendees, aged between 4 and 8,
with a glimpse into my life as a designer and shared some fascinating tales from Congo.
After the informative session and storytime, I encouraged the children to unleash their creativity using fabric scraps I had brought along.
Witnessing their creativity come to life and transform into stunning pieces of art was incredibly fulfilling. This is my true passion:
organizing zero waste and upcycling workshops, not just for kids but also for adults, allowing them to explore their creativity and
contribute to a sustainable future.

Familie
“I was invited by “Familie,” a Belgian TV show, to design the clothing for the wedding of Benny and Samira.
It was an incredible opportunity that allowed me to showcase my passion for fashion on a national platform.
Working closely with the actresses and stylist, I poured my creativity into crafting the perfect attire for their special day.

Barbar
I was delighted to receive an invitation from Barbar, a charming Berber restaurant nestled in the heart of Antwerp.
The owners, captivated by the essence of Berber culture, approached me with a unique proposition:
to craft custom clothing for their chefs and waitstaff. Eager to embrace this creative endeavor, I enthusiastically accepted the challenge.

Fela
I crafted a beautiful wood sign to celebrate the birth of my godson, Fela. My passion for decor
building and meticulous attention to detail allowed me to create a unique and personalized masterpiece.
Fela’s arrival inspired me to combine creativity and craftsmanship, resulting in a meaningful and lasting keepsake.

Face mask
Upon learning about the face mask shortage during the early days of the Covid pandemic in Belgium in 2020,
I felt compelled to take action. Instead of succumbing to despair, I created an instructional video,
urging others to craft their own mouth masks. The response was overwhelming; the video garnered over 50,000 views.
Additionally, I produced a French version, and got reaction from our the beloved continent Mama Africa. The impact was significant,
as I received numerous responses and feedback from viewers in that region.

Maakbaar (Makeable)
Back in 2013 Lannoo published a book in which Caroline Verbrugghe and friends reveal their feasible ideas.
Step by step, beautiful, quick and easy tutorials, without drilling or sewing machines.
Here I got the chance to show you how to make your own earrings in African wax.
Inspiring Caroline to decorate her first pair of shoes.
